House Church Folks!

Here's my informal, conversational, weekly-ish-on-most-Fridays email. My goal is to connect, inform and include you in everything that’s happening in our Church.

Join me for Pop-Up Church this Sunday at Chandler Park in Tulsa. The details are easy to remember: Sunday, 10/10 at 10:00 a.m.! Bring everything that you need for a comfortable, casual morning outside...chair, blanket, bug spray, beverage, etc.  Bring an instrument if you’d like. I’ll have the lyrics and chords for you to play along. 

Pop-Up Church is a brilliant way to stay connected while the weather is nice, and as we slowly make our way back to the church house. The next pop-up will be Halloween Sunday the 31st, out at Hank & Eve’s property, so make plans for morning service out there followed by lunch.

House Church people are the coolest. We have the neatest families and singles, and kids and couples of all kinds and types. In the church there is to be an ethos of harmony, humility and above all love - not only to siblings in the faith but to “outsiders” and “enemies” as well. It’s a marvelous collection of people developing in matters of faith, hope, Spirit, and love. I’ve never experienced anything like our particular community that is so diverse, open and so genuinely friendly - I am here for this! And I say YES over and over again. I serve to witness, steward and support the full expression of each individual within this body as we grow together. 

If you haven’t been around in a while, shoot me a text or give me a call! I’d love to catch up with you and hear what’s going on in your life. Or let’s plan to sit on a patio or next to the fireplace somewhere together.

  • Pop-Up Church this Sunday, 10/10 at 10am at Chandler - and for Halloween Sunday, make plans for another Pop-Up Church out at Hank & Eve’s property. They have a park-like backyard with lots of space, potluck lunch to follow service. Details to follow. 

  • Thanks for your generosity to keep the ministry financially healthy! We are able to keep the bills paid and give hospitably to those in need inside and outside our church. Together we bless so many lives. The ministry and message of our church will outlive the pandemic for generations to come!
